F style

A new F style mandolin which has been revamped to early 1920's specification.


Various timbers are used in construction, figured maple and walnut for back, sides, neck, with red spruce and swiss spruce for fronts.
Macassar ebony for bridge, fingerboard, and peghead veneers.
Necks are reinforced with carbon fibre.
The mandolin with the three- piece back uses claro walnut back/sides, maple neck,
 and red spruce front.
The second mandolin has back/sides from figured english walnut, maple neck, and red spruce front.
